About the Ride

Great rides, great fun, for a great cause

Our Story

Oregon Tour de Outback is a premier gravel and road cycling event held in the heart of Oregon's stunning high desert. Hosted in Lakeview, Oregon, the event brings riders from across the Pacific Northwest to experience some of the most remote and beautiful terrain the state has to offer.

With all new routes and a brand new venue at the Lake County Fairgrounds for 2026, we're keeping the spirit that riders love most: the warmth and hospitality of a genuine small-town welcome.

Whether you're a seasoned century rider or looking for your first gravel adventure, Tour de Outback has a route for you.

Lake County Search and Rescue

All proceeds from Tour de Outback benefit Lake County Search and Rescue, the dedicated volunteers who keep our backcountry riders and outdoor adventurers safe year-round.

When you ride Tour de Outback, you're not just having an incredible day on the bike — you're directly supporting the team that protects the very landscapes you ride through.

Every registration, every mile, every pedal stroke goes toward funding the equipment, training, and resources that Lake County Search and Rescue depends on.

Presented by Lake County Chamber of Commerce

Tour de Outback is proudly presented by the Lake County Chamber of Commerce, connecting riders with the incredible community, businesses, and natural beauty of Lake County, Oregon.

The committee of volunteers works year-round to make this event a showcase for everything that makes the Oregon outback special — from the vast open landscapes to the warm, welcoming people who call it home.
